Maria Schneider Orchestra Newark Concert reviews
Superb evening!
"We experienced just an outstanding tour de force at last night's concert in San Diego. Many favorites, but "Danny Boy," "Amazing Grace," and "You Raise Me Up" were all "over-the-top" performances. I think the ladies picked up on the electricity that was there. Their performances were all incredible. Talk about an appreciative crowd overall. I did feel that the 2nd half dragged just a bit compared to the first half of the concert, but it had minimal impact and may have had to do more with me than the songs that were sung. This Maria Schneider Orchestra concert is called "Songs from the Heart" and that is exactly what we had the most wonderful time."
